Independent Senator Kiz Johnson has resigned from the Senate of Antigua and Barbuda, effective October 24, 2025.
In a letter addressed to Senate President Alincia Williams-Grant, Johnson said it had been a privilege to serve the people of Antigua and Barbuda under the Governor-General’s appointment and to contribute to the work of the Upper House during her tenure.
“I extend my sincere gratitude for the confidence placed in me and for the courtesies extended throughout my service,” Johnson wrote.
Her resignation letter was copied to Governor-General Sir Rodney Williams.
