FATI, SAGI, OSAGYEFO, by whatever name you called him, he is RASTAFARI!

Rastaman SAGI has passed on to a higher level, having lived a very useful and righteous life as a Rastaman.

As one of Antigua’s foundation members of the Rastafari Revelation, his 55 years of growing the Dread consciousness which is the integral soul of Rastafari, Sagi lived the life as a general of the Imperial Guard of H. I. M Haile Selassie & the Throne of Ethiopia.

Rastafari conception is that the light of the ancient Throne of David moved from the East to the West during the conflict in Ethiopia, where Rastafari assumed the protection of H.I.M. Sagyefo took his role with the seriousness and Dread which is necessary in the protection of the Throne of Ethiopia.

Life was very different when the Revelation embraced Antigua, with the phenomenon of our youth separation from their communities, running to the hills to praise JAH and live.

Sagi was among those of Graysfarm, always a leader, he was the inspiration of the dreadful fire and brimstone curses on the community to do right by JAH, and revelations which enlightened the youth about their African identity.Under his watch a school was established on his communal farm, and Rasta farms became established, where the police ceased to openly harass and demoralize Rastafari.

As a protector of Rastafari Rights & Tradition, we will all miss Sagi, as the nation of Rastafari in the world continues to grow with the foundation which he has faithfully helped to build. Praise JAH for a life well lived!
