The Development Control Authority wishes to inform the general public that a temporary safety fence has been erected along the southern section of the Dickenson Bay Coastline near Corbinson Point.

This measure has been approved by the Development Control Authority (DCA) and is intended solely for the protection and safety of the general public.

As part of ongoing coastal defence works, several truckloads of large boulders are being delivered and placed on the land over the coming weeks, and pose potential hazards to anyone entering the active area.

The fence acts as a protective barrier to prevent injury to beachgoers and other members of the public during the construction period.

We understand the community’s concern regarding restricted access and assure everyone that this is a temporary measure. Once the coastal works are safely completed, public access to the affected area will be restored.

We thank the public for their understanding and cooperation as we work to improve the safety and resilience of our coastline.
