The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has officially declared The Nelson’s Dockyard National Park a Noise Abatement Zone under the Noise Abatement Act 1996. This would be effective 15 November 2025.

This action reflects a collective commitment to:

Protecting the cultural and residential character of the Park

    • Managing entertainment activities responsibly

    • Preserving our high-end tourism and yachting experience

    What this means:

    1. 2. Persons within the Park must not cause noise to be an annoyance to others in the Park

Loud music must end by 12 midnight

    3. All music must stop by 1:00 AM

    4. Any activity beyond 1 AM requires a special permit

Let’s work together to keep the Dockyard special for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
