    Guyana’s President Extends Independence Congratulations to Antigua and Barbuda

    President Dr. Irfaan Ali has conveyed warm congratulations to the Government and people of Antigua and Barbuda on the occasion of the nation’s 44th anniversary of Independence.

    In his message, President Ali reaffirmed Guyana’s close ties with Antigua and Barbuda, describing the relationship as one rooted in friendship, shared values, and a common vision for regional unity.

    “Guyana values the enduring friendship between our nations and our shared commitment to regional unity, prosperity, and resilience,” he said. “We remain steadfast partners in advancing the vision of a stronger, more integrated Caribbean community.”

    President Ali wished continued progress and success for Antigua and Barbuda, adding, “May Antigua and Barbuda continue to prosper, and may the aspirations of your people continue to be fulfilled.”
