On Independence Day, Prime Minister Gaston Browne launched a renewed push for environmental stewardship and cleanliness, calling on citizens to take responsibility for their surroundings.

The National Solid Waste Management Authority is spearheading island-wide clean-up efforts to remove abandoned cars, derelict buildings, and bulk waste. Illegal dumping will be prosecuted.

“Cleanliness is godliness; its patriotism in action and discipline made visible,” the Prime Minister said, adding that a pristine environment reflects both national pride and civic responsibility.
