Police are investigating after two 12-year-old students were reportedly found with cannabis at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

According to a police report, officers on duty around noon on October 20 discovered 6.4 grams of plant material resembling cannabis in the possession of the Ottos Comprehensive School students.

Both children were interviewed in the presence of their parents and guardians and reportedly provided “useful information” to assist investigators.

They were released into their guardians’ custody after being “severely warned.” The matter has been referred to the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police.
