Police are investigating a violent dispute between two neighbours in Jennings Extension that left one man with head injuries.

Officers from the Bolans Police Station responded around 4:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of a fight that escalated from an argument between neighbouring households. One man was reportedly struck in the head with a cutlass and another object.

He was taken by EMS to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where doctors treated two lacerations to his head. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators recovered two cutlasses believed to be connected to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
