A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover medical expenses for Christopher Howell, also known as Yung Luiy, who remains in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

The online fundraiser, organized by his mother Claudette Armstrong, has set a goal of $5,000 as the family seeks assistance with the cost of his ongoing treatment.

Armstrong said Howell collapsed after suffering kidney failure and a liver condition and is currently in a coma while receiving dialysis and life support in intensive care.

Earlier appeals were also made for blood donations for Howell, with donors asked to visit the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre blood bank.

In the fundraiser message, Armstrong described the situation as urgent. “I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My son Christopher Howell is fighting for his life in intensive care at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre,” she wrote, adding that the family would appreciate “anything you can offer, blood, a share, or help with expenses.”

Persons wishing to assist or obtain more information can contact Armstrong at 1-268-722-4230 or via WhatsApp at 1-268-773-4487.
