The United Progressive Party (UPP) will officially launch its general election campaign on Sunday evening with a public event in Grays Farm.

Branded “Ignite: A Night of Prayer and Praise,” the launch is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at “Knuckle Block,” and will feature gospel artist Bridget Blucher.

The party is promoting the event as both a spiritual gathering and a formal start to its campaign activities, under the theme “Government Must Work For You.”

The launch comes as political parties ramp up efforts ahead of the April 30 general election, with public meetings, rallies and outreach events taking place across the country.
