A 21-year-old Green Bay resident has pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing a modified firearm and ammunition, more than a year after the incident.

Joel Isaac admitted the offences before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel this week, confirming he had a modified flare gun and a single round of 9mm ammunition without the required licences. The charges relate to an incident at Nut Grove on July 27, 2025.

Isaac, represented by attorney Warren Cassell, remains on High Court bail pending sentencing, which is set for May 12.
