ABLP St. Peter candidate Rawdon Turner has pointed to the opening of a new community centre in Pares Village as part of his focus on youth development and community investment.

In a social media post following the unveiling, Turner said the project represents more than infrastructure, describing it as an effort to create “opportunities, hope, and a better path for the next generation.”

Referencing a moment captured at the event, he added, “That smile beside me—that’s the future. That’s the reason behind every long day, every tough decision, every step forward.”

The newly revealed PARES Community Centre is expected to serve residents of the area, with an emphasis on youth engagement and community activities.

Turner said his work in the constituency is aimed at building long-term benefits, adding, “The true measure of leadership is not what we achieve for ourselves, but what we create for those who come after us.”

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to continued development efforts in St. Peter, stating, “For her. For every child like her. I will keep working.”
