Ministry Deploys Smaller Concrete Trucks for Tight Access Road Projects
The Ministry of Works has introduced smaller concrete trucks to improve access to roadwork sites where larger vehicles face maneuvering challenges.
Works Minister Maria Vanessa Browne said the new trucks have already begun delivering concrete to locations where space constraints previously limited access.
According to Browne, the smaller vehicles are being used on projects involving the construction of sidewalks, curbs, and drains, allowing work to proceed more efficiently in confined areas.
The ministry said the addition of the trucks is expected to support ongoing infrastructure improvements across Antigua and Barbuda by providing greater flexibility at work sites with limited access.
