The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus on Thursday awarded certificates to 432 graduates from its LifeLong Learning Unit.

Governor General Sir Rodney Williams joined university officials, families, and friends at the ceremony held at the campus’s Assembly Hall.

Head of the unit Paula Lee said the growing number of graduates reflects Antigua and Barbuda’s commitment to continuous education and skills development.

Top honors went to Nickishia Carr-Ramkellawan, an employee of CARDI, who completed four courses with the highest average.

Campus Registrar Dr. Camille Samuel, in her feature address, urged graduates to value listening, act responsibly, and use their knowledge to uplift others.

Among the graduates were 11 inmates from His Majesty’s Prison who completed the Seeds of Hope Programme through scholarships.

The Life Long Learning Unit has already published its 2026 programme and is encouraging early registration.
