Soca artist Soca Villain has been named Song of the Year at the National Music Awards for his hit track “BB Service,” beating “Antigua Mas” by Tian Winter in one of the ceremony’s most closely watched categories.

The award recognizes the song that made the strongest impact on Antigua and Barbuda’s music scene over the past year, with both tracks enjoying strong popularity among fans.

When the winner was announced, the crowd responded enthusiastically, reflecting the widespread appeal of “BB Service,” which has become a favorite on the local entertainment circuit.

Accepting the award, Soca Villain thanked supporters and collaborators who helped bring the song to life.

“I just want to say thank you, because without you guys, I wouldn’t be up here,” he said.

He also acknowledged members of his team and the production behind the track.

“I will keep on letting VenomX produce a lot of good music throughout the year,” Villain said.

The Song of the Year award was one of several honors presented during the National Music Awards ceremony, which celebrated artists, producers and performers contributing to the growth and visibility of Antigua and Barbuda’s music industry.
