The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has announced the addition of consultant ophthalmologist Dr. Carlos Rojas Guédez to its physician team, expanding specialist eye care services at the country’s main hospital.

In a social media post, the hospital said it was “ecstatic” to welcome Dr. Rojas Guédez, who joins the Ophthalmology (Eye) team with what it described as extensive clinical expertise.

According to the announcement, consultations with Dr. Rojas Guédez will be available through the Outpatient Clinic on a referral basis. Patients seeking more information were advised to contact the facility directly.
