    Hurricane Power Athletics Club announces record turnout for 5th Annual 10K/5K Run & Walk and 2K Kids Competition

    St. John’s, Antigua — The Hurricane Power Athletics Club reports a record number of entries for its 5th Annual 10K/5K Run & Walk and 2K Kids competition, set for Sunday, 26 April 2026. The event starts at 6:30 a.m. from the YASCO Grounds.

    Course

    – Start/finish: YASCO Grounds

    – Route: Up Old Parham Road → right onto Sir Sibley Wallen Highway → left onto Factory Road → return via the same route.

    Registration fees

    – Ages 16 and up: $30

    – Under 16: $20

    – Age 12 and under: $15

    Prizes

    – Awards for overall winners and multiple age groups

    – Special prizes for largest group, and top Club, School and Business entries

    Who should participate

    – Professional and recreational distance runners

    – Hiking and sporting clubs

    – Schools, businesses and fitness enthusiasts

    – Families and walkers
