Prime Minister Gaston Browne joined Dominicans this weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the World Creole Music Festival, one of the Caribbean’s signature cultural events.
Browne, who traveled to Dominica for the three-day festival, was seen mingling with attendees and regional dignitaries, including Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and dancehall star Vybz Kartel. A widely shared photo showed the trio together, capturing the spirit of regional unity that defines the event.
“It was a pleasure celebrating with our Dominican peeps, the silver anniversary of their World Music Festival. May God continue to guide the advancement of the Dominican people,” Browne told _Antigua.news._
The festival, which concludes Sunday, attracted thousands of music lovers from across the Caribbean and the diaspora with performances blending traditional Creole rhythms and contemporary sounds.
