ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — The village of Urlings came alive as dozens of performers competed at CountryFest, battling for top honours and cash prizes in the Groovy and Jumpy categories.

Emerging artiste Raiine captured the Groovy title, earning the $1,500 top prize. Dan Fergus placed first runner-up for $1,000, while Peetron secured the second runner-up spot and $500.

In the Jumpy category, Blaze delivered the winning performance to claim the $1,500 prize. Dior finished first runner-up with $1,000, and Dah Wizz placed second runner-up, taking home $500.

The results mark a shift from CountryFest 2024, when Bless Eye won the Groovy crown and Zion took the Jumpy title.

MnM Music Group thanked the artistes who participated, describing the event as a celebration of “music, creativity, and community.”
