Caribbean Airlines says it is not facing closure and has moved to reassure customers and stakeholders that its operations remain fully active.

In a media release issued Wednesday, the airline said its board of directors “categorically rejects” any claims that the company is shutting down, adding that no discussions about closure have taken place.

The statement follows recent public speculation triggered by a media report.

Caribbean Airlines said it is continuing to review its operations as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the business and improve long-term sustainability. The airline noted that these efforts are aimed at maintaining reliable service and strong regional connectivity.

The company also confirmed that work on its audited financial statements is ongoing and that it is in the process of recruiting key senior management personnel to support its strategic direction.

The airline thanked customers and stakeholders for their continued confidence, stating that it remains committed to ensuring long-term sustainability and uninterrupted service across its network.
