    CD &CED 2026 CGBF Antiguan Workshops by Carol-Faye Bynoe-George

The Community Development and Citizens Engagement Division (CD&CED) concluded a series of workshops last night.

The Horticulture workshop held at the Department of the Environment Conference room was fairly attended by this year’s participants, CD&CED Division staff and the Community Gardens and Beautification Festival (CGBF) Committee members.

This activity originally planned for 17th March was rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances readjusting it from the first to the last in the series of four workshops held in Antigua.

Last night session was facilitated by Mr. Janeil Simon/Nursery Manager at the DOE. The attendees were shown and participated propagating techniques such air laying, budding and grafting that were first demonstrated by Mr. Simon.

From 21st to 23rd April the CD&CED will be hosting three activities on Barbuda. These events will include a Pest Control Workshop; a Health Fair and Health Talk.
