    Antigua and Barbuda’s Maliek Francis captured a bronze medal in the Under-20 boys’ javelin throw at the CARIFTA Games, delivering a throw of 60.14 metres.

    The performance secured a podium finish for Francis on the regional stage, adding to Antigua and Barbuda’s medal tally at the championships.

    The Antigua Barbuda Athletic Association praised the athlete’s effort, describing it as a display of “strength, focus and execution,” and noted that the medal was well earned.

    Francis’ result highlights continued progress in field events for Antigua and Barbuda, with the young thrower emerging as one of the country’s standout performers at the Games.
