    The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has expressed support for Dr. Sharon Cordner and her team following a fire that severely impacted their operations at the Gambles Medical Centre.

    In a statement, the hospital said its thoughts are with Dr. Cordner and her staff as they deal with the aftermath of the blaze, acknowledging the important role her practice plays in the community.

    The facility confirmed that Dr. Cordner’s office is temporarily closed while damage assessments are carried out and next steps are determined.
