    Shooting in Grays Farm Leaves One Man Injured; Police Appeal for Information

    POLICE PROBE SHOOTING INCIDENT IN GRAYS FARM

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred in the Grays Farm area on the night of Sunday, April 19.

    Around 10:35 p.m., officers attached to the Grays Farm Police Station responded to a report of a male being shot along #3 George Street, Green Bay.

    A male resident of Golden Grove was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to his lower back.

    His condition is said to be stable but serious. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.

    The police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that can assist with the investigation to contact the Grays Farm Police Station at 462-0481, the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913, or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
