Lyrical Boss and Zsura emerged as the top performers in the 2026 KOSCAB Junior Party Monarch Competition after capturing the Jumpy and Groovy titles respectively during Antigua Carnival.

Lyrical Boss won the Jumpy Monarch crown with “Making Bread,” finishing ahead of Soca J, whose “Paper Fight” earned first runner-up honours, while Jamario placed second runner-up with “Look How Me Mash Up De Place.”

In the unjudged Jumpy awards, Jamario was named Best New Artist , while Lyrical Boss received the Best Performer award.

In the Groovy category, Zsura captured the title with “Small Package.” Ava finished first runner-up with “Play Ground,” while Ruez placed second runner-up with “Be Mine.”

Zsura also swept the judged special awards, taking both Best New Artist and Best Performer.

The Groovy unjudged awards saw Marz receive the Leadership Award , Dreya win the Most Punctual Award , Cutie and Princess Lay Lay share the Most Improved Award , and Jamario earn the People’s Choice Award.

The competition showcased the next generation of Antiguan and Barbudan soca talent, with young performers delivering energetic performances as part of the Antigua Carnival celebrations.
