Alright, WI won’t qualify for the 2027 Cricket World Cup, so let’s sack Daren Sammy and Floyd Reifer. Because this series loss and the one against Sri Lanka is and was unacceptable.

I don’t get the reasoning behind this man and his useless computer right hand man decision making, WI were one nil up in the series! Why change a winning team? Why bring in Hetmyer and Paul when you have Jangoo and Khary Pierre in the squad?

It is disrespectful to the loyal players who have prioritised West Indies duty to fly in Hetmyer from Major League Cricket and have him in place of Jangoo after one game!

Hope’s best position is opening the batting, why Greaves? Why is Ackeem Auguste getting more opportunities than Jangoo who is a proven top order batter? It can’t be “oh, we are planning and preparing for the future”, the future is now!

If a player is injured, bring in Romario Shepherd, what has he done to lose his place in the squad?

I guess it’s Floyd Reifer’s fault, he is the batting coach! How does this man still have a job? What is he doing behind the scenes?

WI could barely last 40 overs! Whenever, WI seem to make progress, Sammy and Reifer seem to get their hands and mouths in the team to make themselves relevant, justify their place and feel important.

Someone needs to pinch Sammy’s ears and bawl into saying “he’s not the captain anymore!”.

They are not playing, their pen and paper and diplomatic speeches to the press are not getting the West Indies anywhere. Why is it so hard for these fellas to pick the best team available, give players a run of games to regain their forms and reward those who earn their place from the Super 50?

For God’s sake, the CWI media after every loss, are finding any little thing to be positive about. Yes, I’m glad Vitel Lawes is on the team and playing well, no brainer! Also, that means Ravi Rampaul as bowling coach is doing his bloody job. Sack them now, go back to basics, Sammy needs to stop living in the past and let the team breathe!
