Antiguan and Barbudan cake artist Danielle George-John has won the Best Sculpted Cake Artist category at the 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards.

George-John secured the regional honour while representing Antigua and Barbuda at the awards in Sint Maarten.

She joins Gabrielle Thomas, who was named Pastry Chef of the Year, and Carlonat Gerald, winner of the Best Vegan or Plant-Based Baker category.

The three were among nine bakers and pastry professionals nominated to represent Antigua and Barbuda at this year’s awards.

The Caribbean Baking Awards recognize leading bakers, pastry chefs, cake artists and culinary entrepreneurs from across the region.
