A male police officer has been arrested and questioned as part of the investigation into the disappearance of 16-year-old Jerbiah Paul.

According to Nature Isle News, police confirmed that the officer was taken into custody in connection with Paul’s disappearance on 24 July 2026.

Investigators reportedly believe the officer may have been the last person known to have been with the teenager before she disappeared.

Authorities have not released further details about the officer or the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
