With the Late Application Period for the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies (ABCAS) set to open on Wednesday, 19 August, prospective students are being encouraged to use the remaining days to prepare for the application process.
Late applications will be accepted from 19 to 21 August 2026, providing a final opportunity for persons who missed the initial application period to apply for entry for the 2026 academic year. The application portal will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 21 August.
Ahead of the opening, ABCAS is advising prospective applicants to take three key steps: gather the required documents, pay the EC$150 Late Application Fee and review the Application Guide.
Antiguan and Barbudan nationals are required to provide either a passport or birth certificate, while non-nationals are required to provide both. Applicants who sat CXC/CSEC examinations prior to the May/June 2026 sitting should also have their certificates available.
Applicants are also encouraged to pay the non-refundable EC$150 Late Application Fee in advance and retain their receipt, as proof of payment will be required when completing the application.
The Late Application process will be conducted primarily online. The application portal will become active on Wednesday, 19 August and can be accessed at https://abcassonis.jenzabarcloud.com/studapp.cfm. It will remain open until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 21 August 2026.
Persons who require assistance with completing the online application may make an appointment to have their application completed in person. Prospective students interested in applying for programmes offered at the ABCAS Harrison Centre Campus may complete their application in person at that campus.
To assist applicants with the process, ABCAS has also made a preview of its Application Guide available through the pinned Late Applications post on the College’s official Facebook page. The guide provides step-by-step information on completing the application, and prospective students are encouraged to review it before beginning the online process.
ABCAS is encouraging prospective students to use the days ahead to ensure their documents and proof of payment are ready and to familiarise themselves with the application process. Applicants are also advised not to wait until the final day to submit their applications.
