The police are investigating a double homicide following a shooting incident at Creek Side on Tuesday afternoon, which claimed the lives of two residents.

The victims are a 49-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both residents of Creek Side.

Preliminary reports indicate that sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., a silver Honda CR-V, reportedly carrying several occupants, drove into the area and stopped in front of a shop.

It is alleged that more than one occupant exited the vehicle armed with firearms and opened fire, striking both victims multiple times.

Both victims reportedly sustained several gunshot wounds about their bodies and were transported to the hospital, where they were subsequently pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with the ongoing investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

The Commissioner of Police and the entire Police Administration extend their deepest condolences to the families, relatives, and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
