**SOURCE: ANTIGUA OBSERVER-** A **[Gray’s Farm](https://antiguanewsroom.com/sandals-team-members-gift-toiletries-and-cleaning-supplies-to-grays-farm-health-center/?swcfpc=1)** woman awaiting sentencing for an attempted gas station robbery will learn her fate next month after court proceedings were delayed yesterday.
Shadesha Phillip, who had previously admitted to attempting to rob the Golden Grove Service Station, appeared before Justice Tunde Bakre yesterday while awaiting sentencing on bail. The court proceedings were adjourned as her probation report has not yet been completed.
The incident occurred on June 24, 2021 when Phillip — who was in her early 20s — and a masked man attempted to rob a female pump attendant at the establishment.
Law enforcement officers responded to the reported crime, during which an exchange of gunfire took place between police and the suspects.
During the confrontation, Phillip sustained a gunshot wound to her leg and subsequently received treatment at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Security footage from the gas station, which was later made public, showed two individuals involved in the attempted robbery of the establishment. However, the other individual was not caught.
