Construction on the Antigua Cruise Port’s upland development has entered a new phase, with roofing work now progressing across kiosks and commercial buildings, according to an update from the port.
The LICCOM construction team is moving forward with Phase 2 of the project, bringing the development closer to completion as structures begin to take shape.
The new spaces are expected to feature duty-free retail outlets, local cultural experiences and expanded opportunities for businesses, aimed at improving the overall visitor experience.
Officials said the ongoing works form part of a broader transformation of the port, positioning Antigua and Barbuda to better accommodate future growth in cruise tourism.
The development is being undertaken as part of continued efforts to modernize the port and enhance its appeal as a destination for cruise passengers.
