A community vision programme is bringing free eye checks and reading glasses to people aged 40 and over in Glanvilles.

The initiative, led by the Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs with support from RestoringVision, is designed to help residents access basic eye care without cost.

During a visit to the screening location, Minister of State for St Philip’s North Randy Baltimore and Minister of State for St Philip’s South Kiz Johnson encouraged residents to take advantage of the service.

Residents who meet the age requirement can have their eyesight assessed and receive reading glasses if they are found to need them.
