Thirteen students will compete for the 2024 ECAB Mr and Miss Teenage crowns this Saturday at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG).

Representing various secondary schools across Antigua, the delegates will be judged in Personality & Aspiration, Interview, Talent, and Formal Wear segments.

The show begins at 7pm under the theme “Embracing the Rhythms of our Future.” Admission is $20.

In the lead-up to the event, participants took part in workshops to enhance both stage presence and life skills.

These included etiquette training at Trade Winds Hotel, led by Ambassador Dame Deborah-Mae Lovell, focusing on emotional intelligence, self-respect, and table manners.

Last year’s winners were Gabrielle Hamlet of Sir Novelle Richards Academy and Mandela Ango Anyandjuh of St Joseph’s Academy.

Hamlet swept multiple categories including Best Personality & Aspiration and Best Talent, while Anyandjuh earned Best Uniform Recreation and shared the Best Video award.

Both received $2,500 and were named Most Photogenic.
