ABS – A 27-year-old Old Road man has been granted bail after allegedly assaulting his niece. Dwayne Lewis appeared in court on Thursday, following charges related to causing physical injury to his adult niece, Samantha Garnette.

Medical reports revealed the victim suffered a fractured left orbital bone during an alleged incident that occurred between them on April 20th.

Lewis was granted $30,000 bail with conditions, including that he surrender his travel documents.

The case was adjourned to November 27 this year.
