LETTER: Social Security, can I have my money back from land that I bought at Paynters?

    Dear Mr. Matthias

Some time ago, Social Security sold me a plot of land located at Paynters, however, I am not in a position to use it due to your company’s tardiness. Therefore, would I be able to get back my money?

I am tired, frustrated and fethup from this long wait concerning the promises made to put in place the infrastructure for the lands located at Paynters, that many of us bought.

As a young person, I thought it was very prudent of me to purchase a piece of the rock. As a result, i got a loan from one of the commercial banks to purchase the land.

I bought the land for over $50, 000.00 with the intention to build a home so that my small family & I, can enjoy.

Sadly, for some unknown reason as to what is causing the delay of putting the infrastructure in place is baffling me… Unfortunately, because of the tardiness of your company’s operation, I am unable to enjoy the fruits of my labour.

Presently, the lands at Paynters are looking like a forest. There are no roads, no water and no electricity and shrubs of vegetation are consuming the entire area.

I’ve been in rent for several years now and I thought it would be best for me to invest in my own property. At the moment, I feel like i have been taken to be a fool. Promises were made to have the area properly prepared but yet your promises are not being kept …

Now would it be possible to have my money back, so that, I can go and invest elsewhere? I am ready to collect it now.

    Alex
