    Minister Hails Danijha Simon’s Queen of Carnival Success

    Festivals Minister Daryll Matthew has praised Danijha Simon for her strong showing in the 2025 Queen of Carnival competition, where she placed Second Runner-Up.

    In a Facebook tribute, the St John’s Rural South MP commended Simon’s grace, talent and determination, calling her journey “a source of inspiration to many.”

    While she did not claim the top spot, the Minister said the community remains proud and fully supportive of her achievements.
