Senator Michael M. Joseph has pledged his continued support for community sports with a $15,000 contribution to three football clubs representing the vibrant constituency of St. John’s Rural West.

Five Islands FC, Empire FC, and Hoppers FC each received $5,000 to assist with preparations for the 2025–2026 ABFA Football Season.

Joseph said the sponsorship reflects his belief in the importance of local sports as a tool for youth development, discipline, and community pride.

“Our clubs play an important role in shaping our youth, building discipline, and fostering community pride,” he noted. “Investing in them is an investment in the continued growth and unity of our constituency.”

He also extended best wishes to the teams for a successful and competitive season ahead.
