The family of 18-year-old Kahleel Simon has renewed calls for justice with a peaceful protest outside Police Headquarters on American Road last Friday — their fourth such demonstration.

Relatives, friends, and supporters had earlier held a candlelight vigil near Simon’s home community, praying for “truth, transparency, and accountability.” Many wore shirts bearing his image and the words “Justice for Kahleel.”

The family says they will continue peaceful demonstrations until there is full disclosure about the circumstances of his death and accountability from those responsible.

Community activists have joined the appeal, urging the police to ensure transparency and provide regular updates on the case.
