Sprinter Kadeem Campbell placed third overall in the men’s 60 meters at the Huston College Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 6.89 seconds.

Campbell advanced to the final after winning his preliminary heat in the same time before matching the mark again in the final to secure a podium finish.

The race marked his second indoor competition. Campbell has been training with the Elite Performance Track Club in Texas since leaving Antigua in December 2025.

The Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association wished Campbell well as he works toward the world indoor qualifying standard of 6.59 seconds and prepares for the remainder of the season.
