    As the new year continues with a spirit of compassion and community, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation is proud to announce its February outreach initiative — a nationwide clothing donation drive titled “Hearts on Hangers,” aimed at supporting individuals and families across Antigua and Barbuda who are facing financial hardship.

    Throughout the month of February, the Foundation will be collecting gently used and new clothing items for children, teens, and adults. These donations will be sorted and distributed directly to vulnerable families, ensuring that those in need have access to clean, comfortable, and dignified clothing.

    Founder and CEO Kristine Louisa shared that the project reflects the organization’s ongoing mission to serve with heart and humanity.

    “Clothing is a basic necessity, yet many families in our community struggle to afford everyday essentials. ‘Hearts on Hangers’ is about more than clothes — it’s about restoring dignity, confidence, and hope. We want every person to feel seen, valued, and cared for.”

    The Foundation is encouraging the public, businesses, schools, and community groups to contribute by donating:

    * Gently used or new clothes

    * School uniforms

    * Shoes and slippers

    * Baby clothing

    * Blankets and light linens

    Since its inception, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation has led several impactful initiatives including school supply drives, educational outreach visits, and holiday support programs, positively touching the lives of hundreds of children and families. This February clothing drive continues that commitment to uplifting communities through practical support and collective kindness.

    Community members who wish to donate items can contact the Foundation (770-4700) directly to arrange drop-off or pickup.

    The Foundation believes that when the community comes together, even small acts of generosity can create life-changing impact.

    Together, through “Hearts on Hangers,” we can share warmth, restore hope, and ensure no one is left behind.
