The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has announced extended opening hours for its head office and registration units beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

According to an official notice, the commission’s head office will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., while registration units will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend hours have also been introduced, with both the head office and registration units open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until further notice.

The commission is urging members of the public to take advantage of the extended hours to complete registration and related electoral processes.

ABEC also advised that all offices will be closed on several upcoming public holidays, including March 29 (Palm Sunday), April 3 (Good Friday), April 4, April 5 (Easter Sunday), and April 6 (Easter Monday).

Officials said the changes are intended to improve accessibility and accommodate increased demand for services during the period.
