His impressive production catalogue includes standout tracks such as _Ola (Kan Kan Riddim)_ by Olatunji Yearwood, _Hello (Folklore Riddim)_ by Kes, and _Buss Head_ by Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin. His work also spans hits like _Tender_ and _Anxiety_ by Patrice Roberts, _DAP (Drink and Party)_ by Viking Ding Dong, _Come Home_ by Nailah Blackman and Skinny Fabulous, and _Take Me Home_ by Freetown Collective. Most recently, he produced _Doux Darlin_ by Christo, further cementing his role in shaping the modern Caribbean sound.
Speaking on the collaboration, Israel shared:_“I am currently on the island collaborating with Chippy to produce a rhythm specifically for Antigua Carnival. The aim is to spotlight Antiguan music. Being here and working in the same space with local artistes like Tian and DJ Quest has been an incredible experience. There’s a unique energy, and we are channelling that into music that can resonate not only in Antigua but across the Caribbean and internationally. This project is about creating timeless music that reflects the culture, the people, and the spirit of the island.”_
Chairperson of the ABFC, Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul, underscored the Commission’s commitment to the creative sector: _“The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting and developing our creative industries. We will continue to support collaborations such as this, which provide invaluable opportunities for our local producers and artistes to engage with internationally respected professionals, gain insight, and elevate their craft. This initiative is part of our broader vision to ensure that Antiguan and Barbudan talent continues to grow, innovate, and compete on the global stage.”_
Minister within the Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries, the Hon. Daryll S. Matthew , also emphasised the importance of such partnerships: _“Investing in our creative industries is critical to national development and levelling up our artistes. This collaboration marks a significant step, similar to last year’s initiative when we hosted the Music Producers’ Masterclass: Audio Essentials with Kasey Phillips, aimed at empowering our local talent, strengthening our music industry, and creating pathways for sustainable growth. By facilitating knowledge transfer and real-time collaboration, we are ensuring that our creatives are equipped with the tools and exposure needed to succeed beyond our shores.”_
The ABFC remains committed to creating opportunities that provide local producers, musicians, and creatives with access to high-level expertise, music training, and international industry insight. This collaboration with Kitwana Israel reflects a broader strategic vision to build capacity within Antigua and Barbuda’s music sector, ensuring that local talent is equipped to compete regionally and internationally, while continuing to shape the sound and identity of Antigua and Barbuda.
