    WATCH: Gaston Browne sworn in for fourth term as Prime Minister

    Gaston Alfonso Browne has been sworn in for an historic fourth term as Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda.

    During a brief ceremony at Government House, Governor General Sir Rodney Will said the occasion was monumental since no other leader has ever secured four consecutive terms in office.

    ”The people have spoken with a thunderous voice,” His Excellency said.

    Sir Rodney

    Browne took the oaths of office, allegiance and secrecy before singing the register. Browne retained his previous ministerial portfolio.

    Attorney general Sir Steadroy Cutie Benajmin was also sworn in.
