A swearing-in ceremony for new government ministers in Antigua and Barbuda is set to take place on Tuesday 5 May at the AUA Conference Centre on Jabberwock Drive.

According to an official invitation issued by Government House, the event will begin at 17:00 local time and will be hosted by the Governor General, Sir Rodney Williams, alongside Sandra Lady Williams.

The ceremony will formally install ministers of government following the recent general election, marking the start of a new administration term.

Attendees have been asked to observe business attire. Organisers have also provided an RSVP contact for invited guests.

Swearing-in ceremonies are a key constitutional step in the formation of government, during which ministers take the oath of office and assume their official duties.
