The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment, and Civil Service Affairs is encouraging residents to take advantage of free HPV screening services being offered on select weekends throughout May.

The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote early detection, disease prevention and overall public health.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can lead to serious health complications if left undetected. Health officials stress that regular screening is a key step in reducing risks and improving long-term outcomes.

Members of the public are advised to consult official flyers for details on screening dates, locations and eligibility. The Ministry is urging individuals to make use of the free service, noting that early screening can play a critical role in protecting long-term health.
