Education Minister Daryll Matthew has offered words of encouragement to students sitting the Grade 6 National Assessment, urging them to approach the examinations with confidence and determination.
In a social media message posted Wednesday, Matthew wished students success as they undertake the assessment over two days, describing the examinations as an opportunity for them to demonstrate what they have learned through “hard work, dedication, and perseverance.”
“Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and do your best,” the minister said.
He also reminded students that their value is not determined by the outcome of a single examination.
“No matter the outcome, know that your worth is not defined by a single exam. We are proud of you and all that you have achieved thus far,” Matthew wrote.
The minister concluded by offering prayers for the students, saying, “May God grant you wisdom, confidence, and success.”
Hundreds of students across Antigua and Barbuda are sitting the Grade 6 National Assessment this week.
