Police are investigating the theft of approximately EC$1,500 from an office at a commercial establishment on Fort Road after the money reportedly disappeared from a drawer while unattended for less than an hour.

The incident occurred on the morning of June 19 between 9 a.m. and 9:50 a.m., when a staff member left the office to visit an adjoining supermarket. Upon returning, she discovered that the cash was missing.

Investigators have since interviewed several employees and reportedly obtained information that may assist with the case.

    Police inquiries are continuing.
