    Antigua and Barbuda Names 16 for 2026 ANOCES Track & Field Championships

    Antigua and Barbuda will be represented by a strong 16-member team at the 2026 ANOCES Track and Field Championships in St. Kitts, taking place 4–5 July 2026.

    Panam Sports is supporting regional competitions across the OECS through a programme delivered in partnership with ANOCES (Association of National Olympic Committees of the Eastern Caribbean) and the National Olympic Committees. The disciplines identified for support are swimming, table tennis, 3×3 basketball, athletics, and beach volleyball.

    Team Antigua and Barbuda (Athletics) roster:

    – Geolyna Dowdye — National Champion (100 m / 200 m)

    – Zonique Charles — CARIFTA silver medallist (Female, Javelin)

    – Soniya Jones — 100 m / 200 m

    – Kettia Ambrose — 400 m

    – Shenika Bentick — 400 m

    – Maliek Francis — CARIFTA bronze medallist (Male, Javelin)

    – Jalen Dyett — 200 m

    – Cleon Joseph — 400 m

    – Craig Prendrgast — 400 m hurdles

    – Kadeem Campbell — 100 m / 200 m

    – Amori Jules — 100 m

    – Dion Shaw — 400 m

    – Terrance Thomas — Long jump

    – Christopher Johnson — Shot put

    – Shawn-ze Joseph — 1500 m

    – Devon James — 1500 m

    Antigua and Barbuda will also contest the Mixed 4×400 m relay, Men’s 4×100 m relay, and Women’s 4×100 m relay.

    “We are grateful to Panam Sports and ANOCES for their continued support of regional programmes that strengthen competition across the OECS, and to the Antigua and Barbuda Athletics Association for their leadership in assembling this team, and the ABNOC, who lead this charge. I wish our athletes every success and encourage all Antiguans and Barbudans to rally behind them as they compete with pride on behalf of our nation,” Cliff Williams, ABNOC Secretary General and ANOCES Board Member.

    The delegation will be led by Mrs. Heather Samuel-Daley, Kesswin Anthony, and Daniel Bailey. Cliff Williams, ANOCES Board member, will also attend to support the hosting and planning of future ANOCES events and the Congress.
