Vincentian fisherman Gregory Questelles is among three men missing after a fishing trip from Antigua, prompting an ongoing regional search and rescue operation.
Questelles, Rowel Martin and Cleofoster Jarvis left Port Wharf aboard the Lady Madesha on July 16 and were expected back two days later. They were reported missing July 20.
Acting Antigua and Barbuda Coast Guard Commander Capt. Vaughn Simon said aerial and sea searches have been conducted around Antigua, with assistance from the St. Kitts Coast Guard and the Antigua and Barbuda Search and Rescue team.
The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Guadeloupe has also been notified, while alerts have been issued to vessels near Antigua, Barbuda, St. Kitts, Redonda and South Bank.
No trace of the men has been found. Simon said the Coast Guard remains in contact with their families and will continue searching until all available options have been exhausted.
Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities immediately.
